Hillwood is a comfortable, friendly, family home on the outskirts of Rosewell, a quiet village near Rosslyn Chapel. With stunning views over the Pentland Hills to the front of the property and the Moorfoot Hills to the rear, Hillwood is surrounded by farmland and is the perfect location for exploring Midlothian and the City of Edinburgh.
Open fires and a warming Aga in the kitchen combine to make this a charming spot for a short break. On arrival, it is our custom to welcome you with tea and homemade scones. This is served in the sitting room with it's warming coal fire, comfortable seating, and plentiful supply of books and literature on Scotland.
