The Mayfield
Mayfield B&B is situated in the Torlundy settlement, close to Fort William This Highland town, along with the Lochaber area, is now bidding to become Britain's "Outdoor Capital". The house itself sits in the shadow of Ben Nevis (making is an excellent base for the climb) and is only a short distance away from the winter skiing area and mountain gondola of Aonach Mor. Walking, fishing, horse trekking, watersports, can all be easliy arranged locally and the area and wildlife including red deer, golden eagles, otters, seals, migrating whales can all be spotted in the Lochaber area.
