Beveridge House St Andrews is privately owned and is run by its owner. It is located at the east end of North Street within the town centre in an area once known as the Ladyhead. In days gone by this part of St. Andrews was where fishermen and their families lived and repaired their nets as it is close to the Harbour.
The house has been a domestic dwelling for many years, dating back to the 1600s. In 1960 the property was completely renovated and extended to the rear. The frontage was preserved as original and hence looks small from the outside like most of the little houses in the East Neuk of Fife.
