Essie Croft is a charming 10 acre croft providing comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation set in a beautiful rural part of the Scottish Highlands. Situated below the mountain known as Tap O' Noth, on the A941 a couple of miles outside the lovely village of Rhynie, it is close to Dufftown, known as the Whisky Capital of Scotland, and the market town of Huntly. There is an abundance of birds and other wildlife in the surrounding area, which makes it an ideal location for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. It is also perfect for walking, mountain biking and skiing, having the Clashindarroch Forest within easy reach, with its beautiful views over the Cabrach Hills. There is pony trekking available nearby with many bridle ways through the forest. Fishing is available with some of the best salmon rivers in Scotland close by.
