Hopehill
Hopehill is a large old seventeenth century house with a Victorian façade, incorporating panoramic views with an acre of gardens overlooking the town.
Our bed rooms are spacious and comfortable with ensuite facilities.
We have private parking and secure garaging for motor bikes and cycles.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the extensive gardens.
We are close to the centre of town (5 minutes walking) where guests can enjoy a wide variety of cuisine at very reasonable prices, for those preferring a more local restaurant the Mayfield is near by and offers excellent value.
Anne and Bill Borthwick have been operating Hopehill as a guest house for many years and have built up a welcoming reputation for a friendly and enjoyable stay, both for travellers and business people.
